For those of you who want to play like Jagr and re-live glory days on the ice, there are several house leagues for both ice and street hockey.
Chelsea Piers offers both ice and ball hockey leagues several times during the year. Their spring ice hockey starts Feb 20th, and there is an evaluation session on Feb 8th to set your skill level. Check out their website at http://www.chelseapiers.com/srAdHock.htm
When Spring and Summer come, and you're still looking to slap a stick around, the Black Top Street Hockey League is the place to go. The league which started in 2000 in the Lower East Side, now has spring and fall seasons, and regular scrimmages for those of you who can't committ to a team. These are great links for hockey. Do you have any ideas for people who want to stay active in the winter but don't like the cold? Any indoor ideas?
